The Basics of Labor Law Poster Compliance

California and Federal Labor laws cover different topics that are related to health, safety and employee rights. Each business is different, thus some businesses will require different labor law posters. For example, if your employees are Spanish speaking, the posters will need to be in both English and Spanish. The employees must be able to understand what the laws are about. Not only do businesses need to have Federal Labor Law posters, they need to display their state laws as well.Regulations on topics that include, Harassment or Discrimination, Injuries Caused by Work, Safety & Health Protection on the Job, Unemployment Insurance Benefits, Minimum Wage, and Emergency Information should be displayed for employees at all times. Also, every employer must post the IWC Wage Order at their business. The IWC Wage Order is specifically for wages, hours and working conditions for the company's industry. Not only do State and Federal Law Posters must be displayed, they also need to be up to date. Laws regarding health and safety requirements, minimum wage and labor laws can be revised from time to time. That is why it is extremely important to make sure that the posters are updated with the most recent laws. In order to check on most recent labor law notices, you can regularly check industry and government websites. There are always going to be revisions to the laws and they will be available from a variety of sources, however knowing where and when to obtain the updated laws can mean constant checking of government websites or labor news.

Weekend Warriors - Hoorah For Your Health!

My cousin likes to run weekend warrior camps - a weekend of intense and sometimes explosive exercise and bonding experience. Yes, it tends to be expensive. There are people to tend to be weekend warriors, especially if they live close to the mountains, great river rapids or the beach or trails of any kind.Hoorah for your health! Sounds like fun, yes?But what if you don't live near a great place that lends itself to weekend warrior activities? Or if you just don't have that kind of time for a whole weekend, or the money?Well, have your 'mini' warrior time. No one have all day to exercise.Of course, you could have what I call 'baby minute workouts' that you can use in your workday or when you are at home working with children, or whatever is keeping you busy. But you do need a little more than that.Cardio is great. Specialists recommend 30 minutes to an hour of sustained cardio activity daily to maintain your health. Then you should work on your abs, legs, etc to build muscle and tone up. A lot of people tend to jog several hours a week outside or plug away on cardio machines while watching TV.What if you can accomplish your ultimate cardio workout and build your muscles that burn fat through a faster metabolism? AND in... say...30-40 minutes three or four days a week? I'm sure you would say - sounds great! That's better than an hour five or six days a week, because I'm struggling to get it all in!It is possible. But it does mean no TV while working out. It also means very minimal breaks in between sets. It does mean you need to be more intense - but you can have fun with it.If you are outside, you can do wind or hill sprints that could bust your butt if you wanted - run super fast up the hill or an as fast as you can 100 yard dash, then walk to recover and catch your breath. Then do it again. Compete with friends, or your dog. Talk about heart pumping and then recovering. You'd wake up your body - feeling like a warrior in training. And your dog, if you have one, would thank you for it as well.Another day, you're in the gym (if you are a member of a club - otherwise, you can push yourself at home just as well). You are working on your weight resistance, doing as many repetitions as you can with good form. You can't do anymore. You immediately move to your next exercise. This goes on for 30-40 minutes, depending on your time and energy. Warrior intensity!Combine this intense attitude with a good healthy diet filled with organic and unprocessed food that gives you more energy than sugar and chemically fed foods would. Oh baby. You'd start to get in the zone.Add in a day or two of fun activities with your children, friends, or sports team. Oh, I'd say you would be better than a weekend warrior. Hoorah for your health!Let Abs Truth Now show you some of the great exercise routines and diet guidelines that you can do to be as fit as can be today.Be Healthy,Renee' Barnes-OrozcoP.S. Please check with you doctor before starting a new diet or exercise routine
